Pre-License Requirements - All applicants for a Nevada salesperson license must: |

Successfully complete a 90 hour real estate principles, practices and law course, 18 hours must cover Nevada law |

Pass the end of course school exams with a grade of least 75%. |

Submit your application, fingerprint card, course completion certificates, proof of passing the state exam and license fee of $125.00. |

Post-License Requirements - All initial active licensees must: |

Successfully complete an approved 30 hour post license real estate course with in the first year of licensure |

Pass the final exam with at least a 75% |

Submit complete renewal application, and fee of $180.00. |

Broker Salesperson Pre-License Requirements – All applicants for a Nevada broker's salesperson license must: |

Successfully complete 64 college level credit courses or have a combination of education and experience. Every applicant must take 18 hours of Nevada real estate law and 45 hours of broker management approved by the Nevada Real Estate Commission. |

Required Education:
| a) |
45 hours or 3 college credits in Real Estate Principles course. |
| b) |
45 hours or 3 college credits in Real Estate Law (18 hours of Nevada Law). |
| c) |
45 hours or 3 college credits in Real Estate Appraisal course. |
| d) |
45 hours or 3 college credits in Broker Management course. |
| e) |
15 college level units in other real estate related courses such as Business, Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance and Marketing. |
| f) |
37 college level units from any college, military education, technical school, etc. |

Experience may also be used in place of education certificates or a combination of education and experience. 8 years = 64 college credits, 6 years = 48 college credits, 4 years = 32 college credits, or 2 years = 16 college credits. These can be allocated toward the general and required courses with the exception of the Nevada Real Estate Law and Broker Management courses. You must submit proof on completed form #509 and provide a certified licensing history. This must be full-time experience and your license must be current at the time of application. |

Salespersons are required to complete 24 hours of approved course work every 2 year renewal period. 24 hours must include 12 hours of courses including 3 hours each of Agency, Contracts, Ethics and Law & Legislation. And 12 hours of General courses with an optional maximum of 3 hours in personal development. |

Broker Salespersons and Brokers |

All Broker Salespersons and Brokers are required to complete 24 hours of approved course work every 2 year renewal period. This must include 15 hours of required courses including 3 hours each of Agency, Contracts, Ethics and Law & Legislation. And 9 hours of General courses with an optional maximum of 3 hours in personal development. |
